Are you looking for Cars Toon: Mater's Tall Tales honest reviews? You can find it in here! The Cars Toon: Mater's Tall Tales reviews in here are written by real users. Cars Toon: Mater’s Tall Tales is inspired by Disney/Pixar’s wildly popular animated shorts of the same name. A follow up last year’s successful Wii release, Toy Story Mania!, Cars Toon: Mater’s Tall Tales is part of the Mania! video game franchise, featuring fast-paced, multiplayer, family fun. The game is a frenzied pick-up-and-play experience to be enjoyed by everyone in the room.
With up to four players at once, Mania! games reward competitiveness and cooperation among players. The game will bring Mater together with Lightning McQueen and the “Cars” gang for a new set of adventures, capturing the endearing sense of humor of everyone’s favorite tow truck. Players will join Mater and his pals as they relive the wild stories he conjures up about hilariously unpredictable events that may or may not have taken place. The voice of everyone’s favorite tow truck, Mater, will be supplied by Daniel Whitney, “Larry the Cable Guy,” who also voices the character in the film and cartoon shorts.

Mater's Tall Tales is a decent game as long as you don't expect very much from it. The games are either very simple or a bit tedious but overall fairly clean and fun.
So weather or not you like this game boils down to the following.
If you have kids that love the cars movie and the disney shorts that the game is based on then they will most likely love the game. If you are any older than the age of 10 you will most likely become bored with the games within the week.
The game is easy enough for my 4 year old and my seven year old to play and even grandma and grandpa who never play game console handled the game like a champ.
This is definitely not the best party game out there, but for the younger kids it does a nice job and is easy enough that they don;t get frustrated.

My family and I love Mater, Cars, and Pixar. We'd read mixed reviews on the Mater's Tall Tales Wii game, and the price seemed a little high ($40), so we weren't sure if we wanted to commit and buy the game. Our local Redbox had it, so we decided to give a whirl. All four of us could play together, but even on our large screen TV, our individual screens could be difficult to see sometimes. Each story, or section (i.e. El Materdor, Mater the Greater, etc.) was made up of mini games. Once each mini game was unlocked, you could go back and play it again any time. Some of the levels were tricky for us, such as the racing. I think if we'd had the manual, it might have made things easier, although manuals these days tend to be sparse on information. The cars were super customizable, which was fun; there were paint jobs, stickers, tires, even hats and sunglasses! We liked about 50% of the mini games - drifting in Tokyo Mater, putting out the fire in Rescue Squad Mater, and rescuing Mator in UFO Mater were our favorites. All in all, it was a pretty fun game, but I wouldn't pay more than $20-$25 for it, and for me, used copies in good/great condition would work as well, but I certainly wouldn't pay $40 for it.

There are some cools things about this game and some not so cool things.
Pros: I like that the mini-games are quick. Unlike the other Cars games where you can drive around and explore for hours (literally), the mini-games keep the action moving forward and on point so, again, my 5-year old does not spend hours in front of the Wii. The DVD clips from the actual Cars Toon videos interspersed throughout the game to move the story forward is also a nice touch. The multiplayer feature is nice. Everyone can join in on ALL the mini-games and not just head-to-head races (like other Cars games).
Cons: Some of the onscreen instructions are hard-to-follow. The menus to navigate to gameplay are not intuitive. Some games are also just plain hard for younger players. Overall, I would say the games are way too easy for anyone older than 6-7 years (anyone older will find the gameplay too easy and may get bored quickly).
In a nutshell, the multiplayer feature makes this fun for the whole family. But older players may tire and get bored with the easy and quick gameplay. Perfect for 4-5 year olds.
After you read Cars Toon: Mater's Tall Tales honest reviews above, what do you think about this game? Are you interested to buy it?
