Blog of the week: Eccentric Yoruba

In my original 'decadent menu', Friday was supposed to be a 'Blog of the Week Award'. I have not followed my original thoughts but a few days back, I found this blog purely by accident. I saw the author comment on BGLH and I was very impressed by the fluidity of her thoughts. I therefore clicked to check if she was blogging herself and at the time there was nothing. Fast forward a few weeks later, I read another comment on BGLH and decided to check again just in case she had started to blog and this time I was rewarded!

I have often heard this saying pandered around, 'blog with a soul'. In my view, this was the definition of that saying! Her blog is not science or hair related strictly speaking but it is human. She has pieces on identity, Africa, music, Japanese comics - a truly diverse blog. She does have a tendency to ramble on a bit but the writing is beautiful.
