Respect the diva: Hair Accessories for natural hair

So I'm at home today waiting for my new sofa (couch) , sitting on the floor and listening to Beyonce (I'm a diva dum dum dum). I'm inspired today so here is another post. Buy hair accesories befitting of your hair's mighty status.

Example: Find a big hair clip. In the image below, the top clip is about 3.25 inches (8cm) while its little baby is only 1inch (2.5cm). Also the metallic parts in the top clip are covered by a plastic sheath. The top clip is a natural haired diva's clip, it is mighty enough to actually hold your hair down.

Second example is the hair band. The top band is one of those seamless bands fully insuring your hair against damage. This is the natural hair choice. The bottom band is pretty but it is also pretty dangerous. I bought it because I was having one of those blonde moments. I do still like it but do recognize, all those little links are not good for my hair so when I'm being responsible I'll wear it over another hair band. When I'm being stupid, I'll wear it and try not to move my head :). I do recommend and endless supply of these seamless bands (but why do they just always come in black?)
