Pampering Saturday
My treat of the week was a trip down to Mamuska’s Cake Shop and oh how tasty it was!!! I had a tiramisu cake (yep cake that tastes like tiramisu) and it was soft, light and gorgeous. I also had a forkful of the man’s chocolate cake which was equally delightful. I love the scent of coffee and cake especially when the cake comes with fresh fruit and cream. I was in heaven and I truly recommend small local bakeries. We then walked round the town centre, popped in to a little boutique shop to get some Mother’s day cards for our Mamas and then came home.
My week starts on Saturday because this is when the fun begins. I don’t have to think about work (much) and it is wonderful to enjoy the company of friends and relatives!
